Vintage Pesticide and Herbicide Information

Sprayers are no good without something to spray. The development of sprayers is therefore linked to the development of pesticides, and in some cases it is the manufacturer of pesticides who commissioned  or developed sprayers for use with their chemicals.

This site is in course of preparation and information will be added as it comes to light. Note that the scope of this site goes beyond chemicals used in sprayers and covers some chemicals applied in other ways.

All pesticides now have to be licensed for specific purposes and some traditional pesticides, although still available, are no longer licensed for their traditional use. Where I have given details of usage this is for the historical record only and controlled pesticides must only be used for their currently licensed purposes and in accordance with the latest manufacturers instructions.
